= Excellent: The winter brings blue skies, pleasant days and cool nights. Perfect to explore Egypt without breaking into a sweat and for outdoor activities in the Western Desert or bask in the sun at the Red Sea. It's advisable to bool in advance for this busy period of the high season, especially for Chritmas & New Years.
= Good: This period is actually still is great time to visit Egypt as one can benefit from escaping the crowds and good deals are on offer compared to the high season. The days can get pretty warm in May and September so be prepared accordingly.
= Fair: The peak of Summer brings sweltering heat across the country with temperates rising into the early 40 degrees. Not ideal in terms of the outdoor or extensive touring - this period of the year is only great for serious Scuba divers given the calm waters and incredible visibility in the Red Sea. That being said, Egypt can be dived year-round.
