Rewind to the start. Priyal and Rishit met through their families by a conventional arrangement at first. While they hung out, enjoyed one another's company and fell for each other - it wasn't until a twist in fate and a few months of staying apart that this bond really began to nurture. They eventually fell in love, got married and kicked off their adventure.
Being married for over a couple of years shouldn't mean the spark should subdue. With Priyal's 30th Birthday on the cards, Rishit was eager to surprise her with an experience that would truly leave her speechless.

With the Maldives in mind, he got in touch with us to get planning this exotic getaway. Now, when it comes to a destination like this - it's quite easy to get baffled with tons of resort options. For a vacation to the Maldives, it cannot be emphasized enough as to how important it is to get the resort right given the Maldives' unique one island-one resort concept, whereby travellers are confined to their slice of paradise for all dining, activities and experiences.
After having chat a with Rishit and understanding his requirements, we suggested a few top luxury resorts in the Maldives and eventually zeroed on Kanuhura. With our team having personally visited almost every resort that we work with, it makes life a whole lot easier. We were mighty confident Priyal would love the choice and it would be the perfect place to revel her 30th birthday. We then dived into the details with Rishit to get planning some key elements through their stay. And of course, the couple arrived to a few tiny goodies such as a bottle of prosecco, chocolates and other stuff curated by our dream team. Also big props to Rishit for setting the #HusbandGoals bar really high after this one. ;)

Being one of the top luxury resorts in the Maldives, we can say first hand, it ranks right up there thanks to the incredible hospitality and service all around the property.
Seeking a mix of both the beach and over water (which we love!), the couple spent 2 nights at the Retreat Beach Pool Villa and 2 nights at the Over Water Villa with Private Pool. Offering a beautiful mix of world-class amenities, space and luxury - Priyal and Rishit were spoiled to the tee by the team at Kanuhura as they went all out to ensure Priyal's 30th birthday would be one they'd never forget.
