They say, opposites attract. Well, we have a classic case. Two individuals whose personalities were quite unlike but eventually fell head over heels for one another. We're talking about Rhea & Dipin.
Rhea is our docile, quiet and reserved one. Dipin is our social hunk, popular dude in college and always in the mix of the fun stuff. These two met at a common friend's party and as the cliché goes... it was love at first sight! After dating for a while, Dipin decided to 'bridge' their relationship and take it to the next level, quite literally. He surprised Rhea with a super romantic and eye-catching proposal by going on his knees in the middle of the Bandra - Worli Sea Link above the Arabian Sea in Mumbai. Full credit for making this one a proper show-stopper.
Rhea's YES meant they were all set to tie the knot and began planning the finer details of this new chapter. But as the saying goes; with great power, comes great responsibility. So dawned upon them the important job of booking a honeymoon that would be special, memorable and personal. They found us over on Instagram and set off on designing this adventure.

Mumbai-based, Rhea & Dipin dropped by at the Cozymoons HQ to get planning the finer details of their dreamy honeymoon. A few cups of coffee, loads of inspiration and a deep understanding of their desires meant they were all set to explore Sri Lanka and the Maldives.
As a toast to new adventures, they spent close to a week in the teardrop island of Sri Lanka. Just over two hours from Mumbai, it makes for the perfect way to unwind after a hectic wedding. From exploring enchanting wildlife in Dambulla to the beautiful tea estates of Nuwara Eliya and back to the infectious charm of Colombo, these newly-weds opted for some gorgeous luxury hotels such as Heritance, Oliphant and Taj while in Sri Lanka.
As we were designing their getaway, we took the difficult decision of leaving out the pretty beaches in Sri Lanka for they were capping off their Honeymoon in the most gorgeous emerald isles of the Maldives. We were sure it would work like a dream and it did. The couple chose to set base at Amaya Kuda Rah in the Maldives which is a beautiful luxury resort in Maldives' South Ari Atoll, known for it's vibrant marine life and pristine white sand beaches.
To give them the best of the beach and the ocean, we suggested they split their stay between the beach and over water villa for 2 nights each. To add that extra memorable experience, they opted for both villas with a private pool. While these private pool villas come at a fair premium, the experience of just reveling in your own little haven with completely privacy and tranquility is just priceless. Rhea & Dipin spent their five days in the Maldives simply snorkeling the vast beautiful lagoons, sipping on delicious cocktails and unwinding after a hectic wedding in one of the most exotic places on the planet.

"It's never easy to pick just one, but it has to be when we were in the Maldives. After all, it's truly heaven on earth and no camera can capture its beauty. Dipin knows I’m a sheesha lover, so one night he planned this romantic dinner by the ocean with sheesha! We even had a singer by our table, who was singing our favourite Hindi love songs while we took in the beautiful breeze by our private dining area. It was the most romantic experience and was indeed the most memorable one apart from the various other ones during our time there.", shared Rhea.
NEXT ON THEIR BUCKET-LIST
After a beautiful honeymoon exploring the gems of the Indian Ocean - we checked with Rhea & Dipin as to what destinations are on their list for future adventures. They're hugely keen on exploring South Africa for its wildlife, adventure and beautiful self-drives. Switzerland is on their radar too should they decide to travel to Europe instead. Well, all we can say is both of those destinations have our heart.

"It's very important to plan in advance and have a good planner curate your honeymoon for you. It saves a lot of time and effort plus you get everything ready without having to stress. Also if you’re a vegetarian, ensure you let your travel designer know so they can make sure your options are ready and available throughout your trip." shared the couple wisely.
