Nikhil Thakkar, part of his successful family-owned logistics business and Shruti Mohapatra, MBA grad now Senior Analyst with a leading IT company. How did they cross paths?
It all began almost 9 years ago when bunking college classes together led to hanging out over PlayStation 2 & Counter-Strike (full points to Shruti there!) and eventually endless calls, drives, dates before they fell in love and took off to tie the knot.
With their wedding set for Jan 2019, Shruti took charge of planning the oh-so-important Honeymoon and stumbled across us on Instagram. Right from our very first chat, we figured she's looking for an exotic getaway that should be a concoction of some Fiestas and a lot of Siestas (read fun & chill). We dived straight into the mix and began uncovering their dreams and desires.
A few meetings, several emails and countless WhatsApps later we jointly decided on the Maldives & Bali for their post-wedding travel bliss. The couple was on the same page from Day 1 and clear they wanted to set off on their life's biggest adventure in the most memorable ways possible. After a detailed understanding of their preferences, we designed the trip in such a way that we set them up for some good ol' downtime in the lap of luxury at JA Manafaru, one of the top resorts in the Maldives with all-inclusive privileges like fine dining, premium liquor and unparalleled service. For the Bali bit, we helped Shruti surprise Nikhil with a dreamy spa experience at one of the most scenic spots on the island. The couple rested their head at Anantara Uluwatu for a few nights, a beautiful tranquil oasis on the cliffs of Bali's South Coast.

When we quizzed the couple on what destination is next on their radar, they exclaimed The Lapland (Finland) is at the very top of their bucket-list for some once-in-a-lifetime experiences such as Santa Claus Village, Husky Rides & the Northern Lights of course. For adventures closer to home, they've got Sri Lanka & Seychelles on their mind. We fancy their choices as usual, given the magical memories travellers tend to create at these destinations.
